Prayer Shawl for "JC"

Pattern: Adapted from "The Prayer Shawl Ministry" pg 30, Knit Small Throw, by John Fredersen, JR.
This pattern is for a small afghan, but I wanted mine to be a prayer shawl so I adapted the pattern a bit. I noticed that the pattern is completed in multiples of 15 stitches per section, making 5 inches of fabric. I wanted mine to be about 24 inches, so made it with 5 sections for a total of 25 inches. (Close enough!) I cast on 79 stitches, followed the pattern and added fringe.
This product was made as a prayer shawl for a friend going through a divorce. She loved it and continues to thank me for it every time I see her.
