I used the striped dog sweater pattern to make a sweater for my 12 year old beagle, Toby. I used the medium size sweater pattern and adjusted it according to Toby's measurements. The pattern didn't specify how far from the neck to leave open for the arm holes, so I measured a store bought dog shirt for positioning. As you can see from the photos, it fit him perfectly! On cold winter days he didn't even want me to take it off of him when he came inside. The thick and quick yarn held in his body heat very well. This is an easy pattern and it is easy to alter to fit your dog.
