Making a Pinapple

Craft: crochet
Materials: I used the Incredible ribbon yarn. Autumn leaves color.

First do a chain of 12 and turn around. For the first
row,start four chains back with two double stitches and
chain two and in the same space as the first double
stitches, do two more double stitches chain three and
skip for spaces and crochet 7 double stitches in the
same space until it looks like a fan skip to the end
and do double stitches chain 2 and two more doubles in
the same last space. For row 2 do a chain of 4 and turn.
In the space where you did two chains 2 double stitches
chain 2 with 2 more double stitches and chain 3. Where
You double crocheted the fan, Double stitch skip until
the seventh one. Chain 3 and go to the other pair of
double stitches to do 2 double stitches chain 2 and two
more double stitches. Row 3 chain 4 and repeat 2 double
stitches chain 2 and 2 double stitches chain 3 skip stitch
in the first slot. Chain 3 until you get to the last slot
chain three and repeat the two double stitches chain 2
and two more double stitches. As you turn and repeat and
get to the middle with the slip stitches, the slip stitches
get less and less until there's one and then none at all.
to finish turn with the chain 4, two double stitches
chain 2 and the two last double stitches. You end up
with this pineapple.
I learned this one on You Tube and can't stop making them.
I've used three different of the Lion Brands yarn such
as Incredible, Homespun,Wool ease think and quick, and
moonlight mohair. Here's the picture of the Incredible
ribbon yarn.
