Girlie Girls and Puppies

Even though I did not win a prize for my entry(picture # 1)in the VANNA'S CHOICE Design Contest, I was pleasantly surprised about the wonderful LION BRAND Totebag you sent to me for participating. Thank You so much!
Recently a member of my knitting group brought a "Girlie Girl" she made for her granddaughter to our meeting.
Everybody loved this doll, that could brighten any little girl's room and provide a place to keep all those precious hair decorations. They can even hang it out of reach of a baby brother or sister (or pets)!
The pattern is featured in the June 2009 Issue of Chrochet World, which I bought at once! The material needed for this project was Medium worsted weight(4)yarn.
Since I had some VANNA'S CHOICE YARN left over from my Puppy Design,I started crocheting a "Girlie Girl" at once!
It did not take long to finish this task and when I talked to my sister(who lives in New York) about this doll, she thought this would be the perfect birthday gift for her friends two little girls. They were delighted, when my first two dolls were given to them by my sister.
As you can see, I got more of your yarn which gives me the choice of countless, wonderful color combinations and is great to work with.Your bag is the pefect size to hold all my supplies-even the stuffing!
More little girls will be the happy recipients!
