Made this for my daughter using yarn I had laying around. She requested a blue bunny and I still had a lullaby ombre from an earlier project. This took less than 1 skein of blue and lullaby ombre each, although I think a smaller yarn was probably called for. With a smaller yarn, the stitches have been tighter so the stuffing wouldn't peek out as easily between sticthes.
Also although I tried to follow the pattern,(but varied a bit) the bunny came out to be about 9 inches sitting and 10 1/2 inches standing. I think the pattern called for 5 or 6 inches standing. Although it didn't turn out exactly like the pattern, I'm sure my daughter will love her bubby with the long floppy ears. Can't wait to give it to her.
