Had a wonderful time making the purses. I lined mine folding the material stitching the material together on a sewing machine so that the front side of the material was inside & if you slightly pull the crochet apart on the outside of the purse you can see the front of the material instead of the back side.
Also I had buttoned the purse as mentioned but I found putting two snaps inside the purse kept the closure of the purse better.
