Our purpose is to produce beautiful blankets and quilts for every child or family who visits the Ronald McDonald houses in Denver, Colorado.
We are mostly elderly craftspeople, working from our homes in assisted living facilities and nursing homes on Colorado’s western slope. Our oldest member, Heddy, turned one hundred years old this spring. While only a few of us share Heddy’s passion for sports on ESPN, we all share a commitment to the Ronald McDonald Charities and the families who stay at the Ronald McDonald houses.
We need your help – not piles of money – but piles of knitting yarn or mounds of fabrics and threads. We are requesting donations of yarn, thread and fabric. Our group is small so any donation(*) will help us immediately!
