Two Peas in a Pod - bridal shower favors
Created By: Christine Kowalecki
Craft: crochet
Pattern Source: other:

My much younger sister had her bridal shower yesterday (May 17th). Two months ago I emailed her several pictures of Amigurumi projects-she liked the Bunnies on a Wedding Cake and Two Peas in a Pod. My time being limited, I made samples of both - Two Peas in a Pod won.
I made 52 of these sets for her shower. To save even more time, I purchased the little top hats and bought lace for the veils. I included the base from Bunnies because my other sister made little loaves of pumpkin and zucchini bread. Both the bread and the pod fit nicely on the base.
My four other sisters, groom-to-be, Mum and I got together the night before and put on the eyes, mouths, veils, hats and wrapped everything in a see-through net material. The groom helped by running out for better glue and boxes.
We had a blast! Thanks for the pattern - and yarn, they were a hit!
