I loved the thought of making this Gator for my grandson, Jonathon. I used the colors suggested for the pattern and made him up for Christmas. You can see by the pictures that he is nearly as big as my then five year old grandson--who LOVES him! Jonathon calls him "Allie" and sleeps with him to this day.
I need to do something as big for my newest grandson. And I have four granddaughters to knit for, too. Oh yes, I have done Christmas stockings for all of them.
