This was made from the "Giovanna's Cardi" pattern, which is eerily similar, if not identical to, the Urban Girl Cardi.
The only problem I had was that the sizes indicated were in years, not actual sizes, so the first time I made the "size" 10, it was MUCH too large for the 6-year old for whom it was intended! But once I realized my error, it went very smoothly.
I also added a button (I found one in the exact color of the yarn!) and crocheted a loop for the closure. It came out beautifully!
The pattern was easy to follow and worked up quickly in Vanna's Choice Dusty Purple. Since the recipient is the QUEEN of all things purple, she was in heaven!
