I made this bag for an upcoming trip to a theme park - something that would be light and make it easy to carry my money, camera and snacks for the day.
I used Vanna's Choice in Denim Mist and altered a pattern that originally called for felting the bag. I calculated the size I wanted and checked my gauge on size 10 1/2 needles. The straps are knitted in the style of a thin belt, the closure is an i-cord, and a cloth lining is added to give it strength and keep my needles from poking through when knitting. It was a fairly easy project, taking only three evenings to complete and I love the fact that it can been worn as a backpack or as a purse.
