Hi, all happy knitters, I just learned or should I say, relearned to knit 3 wks ago here in Denver and am I lovin' it! From washcloth in garter stitch to this, my second project Lion Brand in Jiffy Mohair Look Yarn, color 307 in purple, fucshia and turquoise.
I doubled the strand and just knitted creating a long rectangle? Added some metallic navy for "bling", a vintage button w light amethyst stone. The Lion Brand colors sure got a lot of attention at the yarn shop and they also inspired me to wet felt a freestyle applique which when dry, will be applied to felted lavendar wool and hand beaded, the sides being as interesting as the front. So..this is a multi fiber project and all done by hand, all washable by hand. It will stand on it's own. I hope you enjoy.
