I used Microspun mango and cherry red for my project and I crocheted it using an up-and-down stitch(sc,dc,sc,dc,...) I made a size 2T for my chunky 1-year-old daughter and it is just a bit too big right now, but I'm sure will look beautiful by fall! I am going to make another for a friend using Cottonease terracotta and plan to crochet it again--maybe with a different stitch for variety. The pattern was very easy to change to crochet just by checking my gauge and using the given measurements. I love it!
