This sweater was the second one consructed for my nephew. It was the easiest pattern I could find to make a quick gift, especially since I am a novice at knitting. I think that this pattern is a good starter project for my level of experience because it gives one a great sense of accomplishment to challenge yourself to more difficult forms of garment construction. In addition, this pattern would be very useful to knitters who wanted a fast and easy project to contribute to charity.
