I made this afghan using Vanna yarn. The idea was to use the beautiful colors to symbolize the different birthstones. It turned out fantastic and I will probably make more. I just love how brillant the color of the Vanna yarn is and the afghan is so soft. I used the shell stitch because I thought that would show off the colors even better.
