I love this pattern. The sweater can be made in a day or two and in many varations. I make it different lengths, sometimes add a ruffle on the bottom and sleeves, and in many themes for holidays and special occassions. I add buttons, beads, fringe, and appliques for each occassion. I made duplicate "aquarium" sweaters for my niece and her girl friend, with fish and beads all over. Just finished a 'starry night' version in deep purple with gold buttons to remind my niece of when we viewed the original 'Starry Night' by VanGough at Yale last summer. So far I have made at least 10 for my niece. She loves them as much as I love making them. Once you start this using pattern you can't stop.
