A HUG FROM THE LORD

It was the early part of 2006, I believe, that I started my "Hug From The Lord" ministry. I make something for someone who has touched my heart whether or not I know them personally. The reasons are mine shared with the Lord. I started making my hugs after my husband got cancer and for 3 of his friends and it has gone on from there. Sometimes it is a toy for a child. I keep a log of who, what, and when. My husband has since gone to heaven and so has a friend of his. I do this out of love and I pray and annoint them before they are given away. I now have more than 30 people in my book of "HUGS". I am grateful for my talents. The people who have received them are appreciative. I do not keep track of my time as I like doing this. My only advice is to do your ministry from your heart and love for God and others. I just gave away my last "hug" and now have to make more as I like to keep them on hand. Gratefully, Lynn Shoemaker
