made from Lion Brand Yarn.
I used the pattern for the Wild, Wild Red Wig to make this lion's mane for my Granddaughter's Halloween costume. I used four different kinds of yarn (texture and weight) to give a wild look to the mane. I can't remember all of the yarns but I know that I used a Homespun and a fun fur (I'm at work and the yarns are all at home so I can't tell you the exact colors...) I made the pompoms on the mask from one of the yarns. I added ears to the wig out of the fabric for the body of the costume and also added the same four yarns to the cuffs of the costume as well as around the neck to help complete the mane. She is thrilled and looks adorable (totally biased opinion from Grandma!)
