What Goes Around Comes Around
Created By: LuAnn Brodigan
My prayer shawl story has a little different twist...
I have knitted and crocheted several prayer shawls over the years. The shawls then go to St. John the Evangelist Church here in Independence, Iowa.
Two years ago, my husband was driving home from work in rush hour, on his motorcycle. A careless driver in an SUV cut him off in traffic. To save his own life and to try to avoid hurting others, he laid the bike down on the side of the road at highway speed. God was watching over him. He survived his accident, and only had a badly broken leg. Multiple surgeries followed and weeks in the hospital to attempt to fix his injuries. After his return to home, our parish director came to our house to visit, bringing a prayer shawl. The prayer shawl was a gorgeous variegated, textured yarn in fall shades. I am not 100% sure, but I do believe it is one that I had made and given to the church!
So, you truly will reap what you sow!
