A Hug From God

I had cancer and was just sitting a lot and this was not good.I found your prayer shawl pattern and decided to make it.After i started it ,my neighbor's 25 year old daughter died from liver failure.She was two hours away from a transplant. Her husband and parents were devasted.She was their only child.
I finished the shawl and wrote the little note and left it on her porch.She and her husband have told many people that when they look at the shawl they feel a little peace in their hearts.They know that someone is thinking about them and praying for them.
I made a small lap throw for a young man in our county with a note and i am told that he alway's has it with him.
I now have people asking for them, so i need to do more than i am.
I try to work on them two to three hours a day,and i now have a neighbor on the fam beside me that is goin to do this also. This is an answer to a prayer.
Look around you.Is there someone that is lonely,someone with an illness,someone that just has a broken heart.Give them a shawl. It will make them feel better and you also.
I am 67 years old and this is one of the neatest things I have done in a long time.
