It may not be a ministry but...

One of my co-workers was diagnosed with cancer about two years ago. I came across a booklet on prayer shawls and thought it was something I could do for her. I crocheted a beautiful homespun shawl and prayed over it. I always wash my gifts so it was so soft and warm. With other problems in her life at the same time she loved it. She is still doing well. When expecting my first grandchild I made the expectant mom a long shawl to wrap around herself and baby on a cold night for those night feeds. Prayers were said for God's protection for them. Baby doll is so far healthy and mom is ok also. It may not be a ministry but prayer is powerful. Patricia Diane
