My first Prayer Shawl

I had known about the Prayer Shawl ministry for some time, but never felt the need to make one until recently.
Our church has a woman pastor since last November, and as she is the first woman minister our church has ever had, it has been a rough road at times for her.
This summer was rather trying for her, so I decided I would make her a prayer shawl.
I had a lot of false starts as I wasn't happy with any of the patterns I tried, so I developed my own based on the Trinity; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
It took me about a week or so (between work and home life) to finish, and when I took it to her, she was thrilled! I also wrote a little story about the shawl to go with it, so she knows that there are people that do care about her and love her.
I would like to make more shawls in the future, and, hopefully, start a ministry in our church.
