Baptismal Stole

At a recent Baptism, the child receiving the Sacrament was nearly five years old. The only stoles provided, while beautifully crafted by a member of the parish, were specifically made for infants. I decided such a stole was inappropriate for a child of her age, so I crocheted a simple stole for her - 12 double crochets wide (12 Apostles) and 73 rows long (one for each of the books of the Bible)on a H hook. It was greatly appreciated by the parents and the child.
