Earflap Hat

This is the earflap hat pattern from Lion Brand. I made the hat with Lion Wool-Ease Chunky #630-173a Willow. My brother was the recipient of this wonderful hat, and models it for us in the photos attached.
I also made one for my eight-year-old daughter using Lion Brand Homespun #790-390 Lavender Sachet and Bernat Baby Coordinates (sshhhh... don't tell!) in \Iced Mint, using the two strands together.
I didn't add the loop at the peak on these hats, more out of lack of skill in attaching them than anything. I was a new crocheter when I made these.
I found this to be a simple pattern to follow, as all the Lion Brand patterns have been for me, and I love the yarn, the patterns, and the website. This is the first place I turn when looking for a new pattern. Thanks, Lion Brand!
