Fun Fur Flip Flops
Created By: Marion Davis
I have crocheted many pairs of Fun Fur Flip Flops. I read the pattern one day while shopping for yarn at local store. I bought the yarn the went home and sat down and crochet a pair. I have several pair now. The pair show are crochet from Lion Brand yarn but I'm not sure which two yarns as one is a white and the other is silver on silver. They are not fun fur but the picture shows how I solved the problem with sliding of the yarn to the toe of front of the flip flops. That is that after constant wear the year slides toward the toes. I decided to use a very long single crochet stitch to connect the two sides and then weave the ends of the opposite sides in to hide them. I end up with the yarn crossing under the arch.
I have crochet the Fun Fur yarn on to other thong type shoes. I have use three colors held together as I worked. The possibilities are endless. But this is not a project to try if you never crocheted before.
