Mile-a-minute afghan

Using the Lion Brand "Homespun," I recently created a throw.
Instead of following the pattern as it was written on the wrapper of the skein, I instead crossed my stitches in an "X" configuration. I used yarns in shades of blue and brown.
My cat Elizabeth didn't even wait for me to complete the afghan before she was ready to nest in it.
