Handknit Shaggy Bag

This small bag is perfect for carrying the essentials — car keys, cell phone, driver's license, and money — with room to spare for a compact and even a tube of lipstick!
This project began as an experiment with texture…and it turned into a fabulously furry shaggy bag! It is knit from three strands of Lion Brand yarn held together: a bright lime green bulky Bouclé, fantastic lime green Fun Fur, and Trellis, which is a shimmery multicolored ladder ribbon tape with flecks of magenta, chartreuse, and lavender.
The bag measures approximately 7" (17.8cm) wide x 6" (15.2cm) tall with a 30"-long (76.2cm) crocheted shoulder strap. Buttoned flap closure. The diamond-shaped plastic button has a shiny black, half-domed oval center with gold filigree edging.
This color-rich, shaggy shoulder bag adds a fantastic finishing touch to any outfit. It would make a perfect gift for any fashion goddess…or perhaps the goddess in you!
FASHION TIP: A brightly colored bag draws attention away from figure flaws.
