Prayer Shawls for Soldiers

When making prayer shawls for soldiers I always use Lion Brand yarn. I get the best results! I am a crocheter so I like to use the Wool-Ease Thick and Quick and Chunky. These two types bulk up quickly and are nice and soft and flexible. It holds up through washings as well. My first shawl went to my son who is serving in Iraq. It mushroomed out from there and now the whole infantry wants one!
