Homespun Crocheted Matinee Jacket #70741AD

My cousin asked me if I could make a sweater similar to one she saw in an ad in her hometown paper. She sent me the picture and I searched Lion Brand Yarn to see if a pattern was available and 'eureka' this one fit the bill so I bought Edwardian Homespun yarn and made this jacket. The black trim was an add on but it made it very classy. She loves it. Everyone who has seen it has asked for one and as of now I have made two and two more in the works. The raglan sleeves are easy to fit to the front and back pieces and then you just sew the side seams, add the collar and you have it. For this one I made a frog closure with two leather buttons. This was such a hit that I made three using the new Matinee Swing Jacket for #4 Worsted Yarn #60582A but this is a separate project. Here's a picture of the Homespun. lksmith111@aol.com
