Blanket for my nephew Alex

I knit this blanket back in 2003 using about 4 skeins of Fishermen’s Wool (Article # 150). I used a pattern stitch that I found in the Reader’s Digest Complete Guide to Needle Work (1979 edition) named Small Diamonds. If I remember correctly, I used 2 sets of 36” circular needles size 9. This was the first big project I had ever made and although it has a few mistakes, I think it came out ok.
