particularly original ones are welcome, as long as the project was
made from Lion Brand Yarn.
I made this afghan using the recommended Lion Brand yarn except I chose different colors. I made it as a baby shower gift for a friend whose nursery is a celestial theme (moon/stars). She made a quilt and I matched her quilt colors.
The only error in the pattern was that the verbal instructions for starting the graph were in reverse of the picture. To match the words for Rows 1 - 3, you should reverse the row numbers on the graph. Otherwise the pattern was fine.
I rolled the yarn into balls and placed them in ziplock bags to keep them straight and organized while working. It made it easier for turning the work at the end of the row. At the base of the star, I had 9 skeins going at one time, so I highly recommend it.
The piece turns out virtually reversible - beautiful. And the yarn is SO SOFT! People at work said that the picture didn't come close to what it looks like in person. It was a huge hit! Thank you for the pattern and suggested yarn!
