Would you like to share a project that you have made from our yarns or
our patterns? Hundreds of thousands of people who care
about your favorite craft will see your work. Any submissions,
particularly original ones are welcome, as long as the project was
made from Lion Brand Yarn.
My ministry started when I first made a shawl to keep an elderly patient warm when I worked in a Nursing Home. I then founded on line Sheila's Shawls and Paul's Scarves and have donated my time and efforts to making sure every person suffering and recovering from a illness have something warm to put over their shoulder and around their neck. I think it is important we take initiatives to make handmade items to make people feel good. I dedicated every moment when I am not working with a hook in my hands and telling people about the wonderful works we do as a group of people who love the crafts. I love the way Lion Brand Yarn donate yarn to Warming Families which I am also a member of for us to continue to share the love of making something beautiful for someone in need and have hope for their recovery. I encourage young people to learn how to crochet and I am teaching my 10 year how to continue the love of giving back to others.
