Every year my husband and I visit Minocqua, WI...
Created By: R Rudydog07@yahoo.com
Every year my husband and I visit Minocqua, WI for two weeks out of the year. This is our 2 week vacation that we spend in the northwoods of Wisconsin. Of course, seeing that it is almost a 5 hour drive from Bay View, my home town. I have to have something to do on the ride up. Of course, knitting projects are great for the drive. The day we were packing up the car to leave was a disaster. Way too much luggage as usual. Anyway, as we finally got set to go, I grabbed my knitting bag to put in the front seat. As I jumped into the front seat, my husband (the gentlemen) he is, closed the door behind me. Needless to say, the timing was perfect. He slammed the door on one of my wonderful size 11 wooden knitting needles. The tip of one was just pretty much crushed, but still useable for the trip
up north. Man, I was so agry with him. But it happened to turn alright. Thank goodness for Walmart. Anyway, the project was a Lion Brand pattern. It was a poncho made in two pieces. I made it for a gift for my daughter and she can't wear it enough.
