Created By: Sharon Weissmann
At least twice a year I travel by plane to San Diego to visit my children and grandchildren. There are so many restrictions now about what you can and can't bring on carry-on luggage that I was very surprised to find out that my knitting needles were allowed. It didn't matter how long, short, fat or thin they were, they are allowed. Don't the powers that be know how much damage a knitting needle could do? It was an advantage to me while waiting for my plane to depart, but I felt that people were staring and wondering how I ever got past the checkpoint with such "weapons."
