Road Knitting

Road knitting is a great way to meet people!
First of all it entertains you if you aren't the driver. You get to knit while you talk / enjoy the scenery / and it's calming in traffic.
Whenever you are at a stop, someone will ALWAYS either ask what you are knitting / comment on the yarn colors / mention either that they knit, or used to or are thinking of taking it up again. I've had men stop and say that they remember their moms bringing their knitting along & watching it get longer or turn into something to wear.
Children think it's fascinating & want to try.
People smile when they see someone knitting!
