miles to go before I sleep

When my husband and I travel, he drives and our new GPS does all the mapping so I have no duties. I don't believe in wasting time so I have taken my charity work on the road. I knit and crochet items for my local hospital and for my on-line charity AC4C. I've found that simple patterns and small projects can be done while chatting or listening to the radio. I make preemie shirts, hats, and booties as sets. These take small amounts of yarn and concentration. We have even started to count our time in the car to how many sets instead of miles or hours we've gone. Isn't it a real shame when I run out of yarn and have to visit local shops to replenish my stash in the car? Here is a picture of a few of the things I have made recently.
