Customer Projects - Get Inspired
Would you like to share a project that you have made from our yarns or
our patterns? Hundreds of thousands of people who care
about your favorite craft will see your work. Any submissions,
particularly original ones are welcome, as long as the project was

For more years than I wish to count, I have...

For more years than I wish to count, I have knitted and crocheted for any charitable organization, hospital, nursing home, etc that needs the items. I belong to Care Wear Volunteers and ship items to a church group in Ohio. I make chemo caps, preemie caps, lap robes, therapy balls and shawls, and the odds and ends of yarn are wound together and made into blankets for homeless animals waiting for adoption in shelters. I have bags of projects to be worked on while waiting for appointments. Last December I took my 15 year old granddaughter to NYC by Amtrak and made 9 preemie caps on the trip. It was the smallest project I could fit in my travel bag. I've never kept track of the time spent on these projects or the number of items made - no skein of yarn is left unmade for a donation somewhere.
