My fiance's folks live an hour from us and we visit often. Ever since I was a child, I have found it hard to stay awake while riding in the car. So, to keep my fiance company, I knit. I love Wool Ease and have made several bulky sweaters on those rides. One of my favorites is the cardigan sweater coat, whose pattern was on the yarn label. Recently, when I walked into my future inlaws' house, they recognized the sweater coat from previous visits! I was also wearing a scarf that I had knitted with Speed Stix. I used the leftover Wool Ease from the sweater coat and added some Fun Fur for a matching scarf! Needless to say, I have "orders" for Christmas presents. Since it takes about 45 minutes to make a scarf -- I nearly have my 2008 Christmas "shopping" done!
