Since I was a little girl I have loved to travel...

Since I was a little girl I have loved to travel in the car- anywhere, anytime. My dad was a traveler and as soon as spring was in the air we were off somewhere- usually to visit relatives. That way we got to know and be friends with our cousins- even the ones far away in Ontario at a time when most people did not travel too far from home.
Luckily I have married a man who also enjoys road trips. During these trips he does the driving and I do the navigating and the knitting. I do not know how many projects I have completed but my knitting bag is always at my feet and the longer the journey the more I complete. If the scenery is truly gorgeous and I do not want to miss a moment I resort to dishcloths as I can knit them without having to count or watch and so my family is always well supplied. I haven't done a travel scarf but maybe that will be my next project.
