I made this afgan for my nephew. Since the original pattern called for Dusty Pink, I substituted it for the Taupe Mist, to make it a little more manly. I also used the extra I had of the Rust yarn and single crocheted a border around the entire afgan. I've crocheted for over a year now, but this was my first knitting project. I had a lot of fun and think I will continue to knit!
