made from Lion Brand Yarn.
I used Lion Brand Wool Ease Chunky in Amber 186 to make the Day to Night Shawl. The basic pattern was easy but when sewing the seams, the bulky yarn left a lot of holes which I did not like. I added a ruffle using the Lion Brand Pattern Moonlight Mohair Ruffled Scarf to make a unique style. It was such a hit that the woman who wore it had 5 women ask her 'where did you get that beautiful shawl?' When making the 2nd one, I decided to make the body all in one piece to avoid the gaping seam down the middle but it changed how the back hung and when I do it again, I will make the 2 piece back but use a new technique I learned to eliminate the gaps. Photos are on my blog http://lindayarncloset.blogspot.com and my web site www.afghans4unow.net. I love Lion Brand yarn and patterns. I'm starting a mulberry shawl in same yarn.
