What to do with my shawl ???
Created By: Nancy Williams
I truely embraced this prayer shawl ministry, and after moving to a new area, I thought this would be a good way of reaching out to others. But as I worked on my shawl, I would pray for the person for whom I just knew this shawl was for. and everytime it seemed that person I thought it was meant for, would get better or move away. I even contacted a prayer shawl ministry in another location and told them I had a shawl ready, and they had taken a break for the holidays. I said "Lord, I know you have put this in my heart to do,so I will put it away until needed. The following Sunday, we had found that our Pastor's brother was driving home from a football game with his 10 year old twins, when a deer ran out in front of them and the wreck killed the little boy instantly, and the little girl was seriously injured. I knew then for whom that shawl was intended. I sent it to them, I told them it was large enough to wrap Mother and daughter together in peace, while they healed. Sometimes we get ahead of God's timing. N. Williams
