The Lawrence King Memorial Group.

We are in the process of working on a group called the Lawrence King Memorial Group. This is a two fold group. One: We are making a project to comfort his mother in her time of need. Two: we are asking for scarves that are knit or crocheted to be given to Scarves for Soldiers.
I started this group as Lawrence was the victim of a hate crime. He was murdered by a fellow classmate because he was gay. This was a young man, who was 15 yrs old, who had been going through many struggles and took up crocheting. He was the one who started donating scarves to the soldiers. He was murdered because he was different.
This is a fledgling group, newly started. Please come and join us.
