My downs syndrome son was sick with pneomonia in both lungs. The doctors were puzzled about what to do, becaused everything they did was not working. While I sat in my son's room day in and day out I prayed as I made the granny squares of all colors. The yarn was my scrap yarn so I decided to put it to good use. While I crocheted the squares I prayed. I prayed about 15 hours a day for 2 1/2 weeks. We even put him in an oxygen tent at my demand. Finally my son started showing signs of being hungry and wanting up. So they took him out of ICU and put him in a room. While I prayed my husband told the world we knew to pray because he was afraid. He was ask what I thought. He said she said that God was in control and we were to pray. He was 18 years of age going on 19. He is now 21 going on 22. He plays basketball, soccer and floor hockey. He has learned to ski, snowshoe and is going to graduate from High School this year. Prayer works everytime. Oh! I made a blanket that he won't let anyone touch because God blessed him under it.
