Customer Projects - Get Inspired
Would you like to share a project that you have made from our yarns or
our patterns? Hundreds of thousands of people who care
about your favorite craft will see your work. Any submissions,

Joy and Blessings

It all began with an invitation to come knit/crochet at the "Community of Christ" each Thursday morning for a couple hours. Ten women arrived on November 1st, 2007 eager to learn or renew their skills. In two months we donated 78 cap/scarf sets to inner city kids. Since the first of this year, we have completed and shared over a dozen prayer shawls. We have invited friends to join us, and continually add cap/scarf sets to our giving tree in the church.
We know that the prayer shawl ministry is a blessing to the ones knitting/crocheting as well as the recipient. One lady, who was experiencing pain in her shoulder and arm, realized that while she was knitting and praying for another, she was pain free. Another found that she could crochet, even though she has lost most of her eyesight. Several others have shared that our ministry through knitting has brought joy and blessings to them.
To anyone who would like to be involved in prayer shawl ministry, just move out in faith and share in God's blessings.
