When a friend of mine told me that her friend and coworker just found out she had cancer I asked if she would like a prayer shawl. She was overwhelmed with the shawl and wore it every day. I also kept her in my prayers. Last week, she found out that her cancer was gone. Just like that.
I have been making prayer shawls for a numer of years now and have given them to many people, some i know and a lot I don't. They have all been beneficial in giving comfort and support.
