It's never too Late!

My Mother-In-Law was 93 and not in the best of health. I saw your Prayer Shawl book and decided to make her a shawl as she was going to a Nursing Home and was having a hard time. As her health was failing, I kept telling my daughters, "I hope she doesn't pass until I can give her this shawl for comfort."
I had just finished her shawl and was ready to sent it to her with a note when the phone rang. It was my daughter telling me that Mom has just passed away.
I flew to the funeral and the funeral director was a family friend. When I told him the story, he said do you have it with you? I did, and right before they closed the casket, he had me cover her with it and said he knew she would like that. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think of it.
