Retired Marine crochets shawls

About the time I started the Prayer Shawl Ministry in Wessington Springs, I found out that a man by the name of Carl Sampson crocheted. He is a retired marine who drove the Springs Bus here. He thought he could try it. So one of the members of Our Saviors dropped off a bag of yarn with directions to make a prayer shawl at his house. He has been making shawls for us as along as we provide him the yarn. People who have received his shawls were thrilled. He has since moved to Tea, SD, and still makes prayer shawls for us. When in town he will drop off what he has done and pick up more yarn.
