Customer Projects - Get Inspired
Would you like to share a project that you have made from our yarns or
our patterns? Hundreds of thousands of people who care
about your favorite craft will see your work. Any submissions,
particularly original ones are welcome, as long as the project was

Heavenly Needles

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry was started by our pastor's wife Laura Goss. It was started, because so many of us wanted to learn to knit. And we thought that this was a great Idea. Also, we have so many people in my church in need of prayer. It has grown from 5 to about 10 knitters and crocheters. We meet once every 2 weeks (on a monday night) For 2 hours, to talk and make these wonderful shawls. Countless people have benefited from this ministry. I even recieved one of the shawls, because I was in the hospital for my heart. Not only do the people who recieve these shawls benefit, but we also benefit. We benefit, because it makes us feel great to do for others. We also knit baby hats for newborns, and premies, in our local hospital. I would advise anyone who wants to start a Prayer Shawl Ministry, to just Do it. You never know who will benefit from it, or how they will benefit from it.
