Customer Projects - Get Inspired
Would you like to share a project that you have made from our yarns or
our patterns? Hundreds of thousands of people who care
about your favorite craft will see your work. Any submissions,
particularly original ones are welcome, as long as the project was

KNIT-INS AT FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, FORT COLLINS, COLORADO

In the summer of 2006 my husband and I were visiting my birth state of Maine. Friends in three different locations had either recently received shawls or were knitting them. Good idea I thought! That fall my husband unexpectedly passed away. During my grief it occurred to me that this would be a worth while ministry to begin at First Church.
The idea was enthusiastically embraced by the United Methodist Women, and by March of 2007 we were off and roaring with our Lion Brand yarns. In September we dedicated 75 shawls at the altar on Women's Sunday. It was a lovely touching sight to behold!
We have monthly KNIT-INS, enjoying much camaraderie and fellowship mid busy clicking and clacking of needles. What blessings we have all received in this outreach!
